It's of course not perfect by any means...and I've started and unraveled several before this...but I'm pretty excited that I'm able to get this after only a couple of days. I mean if I can do that, then maybe I'll have a stuffed animal sized scarf by next month :) That's the first goal. No pattern or row counting or anything. Just lots of practicing the "knit stitch" until it looks long enough to go around my tiger's neck.
Mom finally turned the heat on and yet I'm still freeeezing. This weekend I *really* need to tidy up and move my bed away from the window! When I set the knitting needles down for a few minutes, they are like ice cubes by the time I pick them up again. I'm not sure if I'm mentally ready for this colder weather.
