The Cardinals won the first game of the world Series tonight. Three more wins and we'll be champions! I'm staying optimistic despite 21 out of 25 "experts" on ESPN thinking there was no way...well we won the first one and that's great for moral. The next one is at home too and although I have a hair appointment that might run into the very beginning, after that I'll be hanging with a friend enjoying the game at a sports bar. Hurray!
Anyway, while watching the game tonight, it seemed only appropriate to have hot dogs for dinner and nachos as a snack. They weren't as authentic as the stadium (and the cheese got cold which was a bummer), but they were pretty tasty and helped me get in the mood.
