Picture Day 16

Well today I carved a couple of pumpkins and had every intention of taking a picture of that. Then I got into watching the Cardinals game tonight (which we are winning so far...here's hoping we can keep the lead!) and my camera is in the dining room and I was all cozy in bed. So please excuse the cell phone picture, but at least it's relevant.

Please ignore the gross nails and remember that I scraped out a pumpkin. Anyway this is my mangled hand after the vicious serrated knives from the many years old carving kit snapped like nothing in the middle of cutting off the top of my second pumpkin. Both of them! one after the other! Its a pretty good scratch in the index finger and a tiny gouge in the middle finger. Stung for a while though, geeze!

Anyway one of these days will certainly be a picture of my pumpkins. They aren't perfect but I have to admit I'm proud of them.

Now...back to baseball :D
