Today was a pretty rough day for me. It started out not so great and work didn't help. Nothing major, just lots of little silly things adding up like breaking a mug and a hole in my pants. It left me with no inspiration or motivation to come up with a picture for today. But I can't quit yet. I looked around my room and say my Fredbird build a bear. The Cardinals are playing right now in I believe the fifth NLDS game and we're tied with the Phillies in the series...so if we win we move on, if we lose we're out. I haven't followed the Cardinals much this year, I basically spend all my free time talking to K, and had to be a bandwagon type. But, I was born and raised a Cardinals fan so even if I'm not following the games closely I'm always rooting in my heart.
I happened to buy this particular Fredbird stuffed animal when my friend took me to my first post-season Cardinals game...a game in the NLCS (the series after the one we're in now) against the New York Mets in 2006. That just so happens to be the year we won the World Series (which I got to go to Game 3 of...one of the most exciting nights of my life!). So here's to cheering for the Cardinals! BIRDS!
As a side note...this is the most edited photo I've posted (or owned up to editing for that matter). I think there are some unnatural bits to it...I have a lot to learn. I did just use iPhoto instead of Photoshop out of pure laziness. I really do need to play around with Photoshop a bit more or I've wasted my money!
