Picture Day 10

So there is a baby shower at work on Wednesday. I'm planning to bring baby shaped cake pops. I've done a trial run in making little baby faces, gathered all my materials, and now created my displays. Well in doing the last thing there I learned a valuable lesson: Elmer's glue, scrapbook paper, and a hunk of foam don't mix. The good news it I learned this from one short little side. The bad news is it's the front and where it says baby boy. Ah well, that one can go in the back! Here is a look at my mishap:

I have to say I think the bottom one actually looks pretty good. Really the top one does too except the front. Tomorrow I will actually assemble and decorate the cake pops and hopefully they come out well and are a hit on Wednesday. And if not, hopefully they get eaten!

I have to say the cake pop book K got me for my birthday was amazingly helpful in putting these foam blocks together. She has a great little instruction section in the back and it was immensely helpful. Next time though I won't cheat on the paper size for my template for the holes!
