Picture Day 11

So this is hopefully not going to be the only self portrait I put up here as I look ridiculous...

 

I really wanted to try this no heat curl thing: http://pinterest.com/pin/311777667/ but I don't know if its the headband I have...or my hair not being quite dry enough yet (though it couldn't be much dryer) or just the fact that my hair strands look at each other and tangle...to a ridiculous degree. But I had a lot of trouble. I did find the first couple of loops and then it was a tangled mess. 

So I thought I'd try another method she posted: http://pinterest.com/pin/309959770/. Yes, there are socks in her and my hair...its a little weird. I ran into the same tangle trouble with the top bit. So I'm not optimistic about how this will turn out. But I figured I'd give it a try. 

Have I mentioned I love Pinterest? I spend way too much time there...this is my attempt to justify it by actually trying some of the things I'm finding.

Besides the fact that I have (clean) socks in my hair I also want to show K that I kept my pinky promise and took my contacts out even though I'm off my schedule. I suually do them on Saturday nights but forgot this past Saturday. At this point I usually figure what's the point and just wait til next Saturday but the little manipulator guilted me into doing it!
