Picture Day 14

Tonight was another boring night catching up on TV shows. I've really been neglecting them lately and we need space on the DVR. I'm sure my Friday night is something to be jealous of. I was going to use a picture I took at work with my iPhone today, but then my cat was looking all cute curled up in a basket. I wanted to capture that as its rare...well that didn't really happen. I got a pretty good one that explains her and my dog's relationship though:

There is absolutely nothing special or good about this picture...except it makes me laugh.

Honorable mention goes to my 14.5 picture.

 

I was playing around with the live view on my Nikon D7000 camera and it refused to focus...so I manually focused while holding it down close to the floor. I wish the focus point was more on the eyes, but considering I was just messing around the fact anything is remotely in focus surprises me. Sometimes I think I should use manual focus more often. But I always second guess my focusing decisions and don't really trust my eyes/contacts that well. Plus, auto focus is much faster in my opinion.
